My HOT Salsa in Leeds

Salsa is perhaps one of the most beautiful dances out there. I know I always love watching people dance the salsa and I make a point of occasionally visiting my nearby Cuban bar because there is nothing quite like people dancing in step with each other. But until my salsa dance lesson in Leeds, it had never occurred to me that I could be one of those people.

My salsa dance lesson in Leeds was a present from my partner, who knew of my admiration, and who knew it would never occur to me to take a lesson. I was a little nervous – who wouldn’t be? But I put on a floaty dress and went for it, and I have rarely enjoyed anything as much as I enjoyed my salsa dance lesson in Leeds that day.

We started easy and slow, but before I knew it we stepped it up. I was dancing the salsa myself, and twirling all over the place! I found the music very easy to dance to as it tends to have a very recognisable beat, so it was easy to get into the rhythm and keep time, without spending my entire time counting to myself, which I think I would find difficult whilst also concentrating on my dance steps!

After I came home, I found out that my salsa dance lesson in Leeds was not the only one available. There are a few out there, so I plan to take a couple of classes every week and develop my fascination into a passion.
